Chief Executive Officer - Ron Schultz
Ron Schultz has been internationally recognized as a thought leader in the field of Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation. He has written or co-written and had published 22 books, including his latest, Adjacent Opportunities – Sparking Emergent Social Action and the forthcoming, Enabling Coherence in the Midst of Complexity: Advances in Social Complexity Theory, (Palgrave Macmillan). Mr. Schultz is the founder and Executive Director of the Social Enterprise Zone and CEO of Lending4Change, a neighbor-to-neighbor lending program for social businesses.
Mr. Schultz has spent the last decade working with social businesses and social entrepreneurs and micro-finance organizations. He was the founding executive director of Volunteers of America, Los Angeles’ Social Entrepreneur Incubator, and has worked with many of the major social entrepreneurial and social enterprise organizations in the country, including Ashoka: Innovators for the Public, The Social Enterprise Alliance and the Skoll Foundation. His Internet-based radio podcast - At Work in the Community - features interviews with some of the leading social entrepreneurs and social enterprise leaders in the United States. Prior to his work with social entrepreneurs, Mr. Schultz ran Red Tiger & Associates, a successful consulting company, and was also COO of the knowledge management software company, Collectively Sharper. Mr. Schultz was the Director of Corporate Communications for Senn-Delaney Leadership and Publisher of its Leadership Press.
Chief Operating Officer - John Parsons
John Parsons had the good fortune to be born in Japan and raised there, France and the United States. His childhood set the stage for an appreciation of people from all cultures and socio-economic circumstances. After receiving his BA from Bowdoin and his MS from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute his early career was spent in Advertising and Banking. He discovered credit unions in the early 80's in Silicon Valley and since then has enjoyed the social altruism and bottom line accountability these not-for-profits institutions offer. John has held positions in Credit Unions as CEO, COO and EVP and has worked in many community-business partnerships.
Chief Technology Officer - Bob Tingle
Bob Tingle has over 18 years experience in the development and creation of high end web sites and interactive online applications. He has also been active in the creation of numerous electronic publishing sites and initiatives. In 1994, he created ElectricBook.com, a trailblazing web site that helped popularized internet publishing by cataloguing and archiving online books, newspapers and magazines and directing web users to them. It was this project that began the continuing working partnership of Bob and Ron Schultz. Together they created electronic publishing projects including FirsteBooks, ePublishing News, eCoach - an electronic newsletter for Senn-Delaney Publishing, Red Wheel - Weiser Publishing, and an audio book project for American Airlines.
In 1998, Bob joined Wright Express LLC as Web Technology Administrator. There he was responsible for the creation, administration and implementation of all Wright Express Internet, Extranet and Intranet electronic media products which included sites managed for Exxon Mobil and Imperial Oil of Canada and other partners. He worked with IBM Mainframe technologies, as well as, open source software products.

Ron Martin
Ron Martin was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mission Federal Credit Union, offering consumer financial services to more than130,000 members with an affinity to the San Diego educational community. The credit union, with $1.9 billion in assets, is among the nation’s 35 largest credit unions and distributes services, in part, through 23 branch office locations in San Diego County. In 2003 Mission received a Federal Community Charter to serve the 2.9 million residents of San Diego County.
Prior to joining Mission Federal Credit Union in July 1995, Martin served 18 years as President, CEO and Director at Technology Federal Credit Union in San Jose. He has been involved in the Credit Union community since 1977. Martin worked for United California Bank (later First Interstate) from 1969-1976 during which time he managed the Northern California stock brokerage division. His many endeavors in behalf of credit unions include serving on the organizing committee and 12 years on the Board of Directors (to include Chairman) of the CO-OP Network, the largest financial institution-owned EFT network in the U.S.
